J. Louise Bright, 74, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at her home in Hutchinson, KS. Louise was born February 28, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Plasido L. and Lucille T. (Mendoza) Delgado.
On April 6, 1967 she married John W. Bright in Hutchinson. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, KS. A member of the Hutchinson Human Relation Commission.
She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Manuel Delgado and two sisters, Teresa Delgado and Judith Lozoya.
Louise is survived by her four children, John A. Bright of Hutchinson, Krista L. (David) Isaacs of Overland Park, KS, Denise R. (Jason) Hess of Nickerson, KS, and Steven R. Delgado of Hutchinson, KS; and nine brothers, Daniel Delgado, Dean (Geri) Delgado, David Delgado, Louis (April) Delgado, Robert Delgado, Michael Delgado, Christopher Delgado, Rojelio (Claudia) Delgado, and Thomas Delgado; four grandchildren, Dustin M. Bright, Trey A. Cole, Logan Beery and Raven Bright; and one great grandchild, Cosmo Beery.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 with family greeting guests from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. A Rosary Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, KS, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or Christian Soup Ministry and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
