Local Businesses Offer Free Meals and Discounts for Veterans Day
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As Veterans Day approaches on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, several restaurants and retailers across Kansas are honoring those who have served with free meals and special discounts.
Dillons is offering a 10% discount on Veterans Day to all active-duty military, veterans, and their dependents at locations across Kansas. Military associates at Dillons can combine the discount with their existing 10% “Our Brands” savings for an even greater total. Shoppers must show valid military ID and a Dillons Shopper’s Card to redeem the offer. Some exclusions apply.
Also in Hutchinson, Fastlane Express Car Wash at 924 East 30th is offering veterans a free car wash.
Buffalo Wild Wings will offer veterans and active-duty military 10 free boneless wings and fries at participating Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations. Guests must show valid ID proving past or present military service.
Chili’s Grill & Bar is inviting veterans and active military members to enjoy a free meal from a select menu at participating locations. The offer is valid for dine-in only on Veterans Day.
IHOP will serve up its popular Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo free to veterans on November 11. The meal includes pancakes topped with strawberries, blueberries, and whipped topping, served with eggs, hash browns, and a choice of bacon or sausage.
Applebee’s continues its long-running Veterans Day tradition by offering veterans and active-duty service members a free lunch or dinner from a special menu featuring entrées like the bacon cheeseburger, top sirloin, shrimp, chicken, pasta, or salad. The offer is available for dine-in guests only at participating restaurants.
Olive Garden will provide a complimentary entrée from a special Veterans Day menu to all veterans and active-duty military dining in on November 11. Guests are asked to present a valid military ID.
Pizza Ranch is also honoring service members with a free buffet for all veterans and current military personnel during regular buffet hours on Veterans Day.
