San Antonio, TX- The Wind Surge defeated the San Antonio Missions 1-0 for the second straight game on Friday Night thanks to a strong start on the mound from Simeon Woods Richardson as the Surge remain in first place.

The Surge broke the tie in the top of the ninth inning as Chris Williams hit a leadoff double and later scored on a bunt single from Jair Camargo and a throwing error by third baseman Juan Fernandez to give Wichita a 1-0 lead.
