HUTCHINSON, Kan. — It was another successful Coats for Kids campaign in October.
The annual event, started by John Neal of Ineeda Cleaners, netted more than 1,500 coats and other winter items for those in need.
The drive started a little slow, but picked up steam when the cold weather arrived late in the month. All of the items have been cleaned and taken to The Salvation Army where they are being distributed.
Rachel Nelson of Ineeda wanted to say "thank you" to all those who donated and for all of the work that went into making the drive another success.
