Evelyn Maxine Graham, 95, passed away August 5, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born September 11, 1925, in Hutchinson, to Claude A. and Nellie B. (Shultz) Perry.

Evelyn was a 1944 graduate of Buhler High School. She worked in the shipping department as an office clerk at Dillons Stores, retiring with over 22 years of service. After retirement, Evelyn worked as a driver for the Cancer Council of Reno County and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office Senior Patrol Program. She was a member of the Women of The Moose Hutchinson Chapter #1371 and the Silver Leaf Chapter #464 Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years. Evelyn was also a member of the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.

On July 24, 1944, she married Charles ‘Chuck’ Marion Graham, in Hutchinson. They shared almost 49 years of marriage, prior to his death on July 6, 1993.

Evelyn is survived by: son, William ‘Bill’ (Marilyn) Graham of Hutchinson; grandson, Jason (Ann) Graham of Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Noelle Graham and Connor Wolfe, both of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sister, Mildred Snyder; and brothers, Floyd Perry and Jack Perry.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary, with The Reverend Mike Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Thursday, with the family present that morning at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Women of The Moose Hutchinson Chapter #1371, Silver Leaf Chapter #464 Order of Eastern Star, or the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
