HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce is asking members to take a survey regarding the use of masks during this pandemic life we live in. The survey will cover the issue of mandated wearing of masks in Reno County.
No such order exists at this time although the Governor signed an executive order that masks be worn when out in public. The chamber stated they would like to hear from the business community on their opinions on this issue.
With Kelly's recent executive order, mask-wearing has become a debated topic of business owners and communities across Kansas. The chamber says they’ve not taken an official position on the issue, but are requiring employees to wear masks when walking throughout the office and interacting with the public.
