HAVEN, Kan. — Haven Electrical Distribution Superintendent Chad Swartz is being offered the job as the city's Public Works Director.
The Haven City Council voted 3-2 to offer him the job at their Monday meeting. He has until noon Wednesday to decide.
Swartz will be offered the job at a salary of $55,000 a year. Christopher Scott, Austin Borden and Kylie Rush voted in favor. Mark Robinson and Sandra Williams voted against the motion.
The Haven City Council will next meet November 7th at 7 p.m. at 120 S. Kansas Avenue.
