HUTCHINSON, Kan. — On Tuesday, September 17th, Waldron Street will be closed to thru traffic between E. 17th Ave and just south of E. 20th Ave.
The 2024 Arterial Street Maintenance Project involves surface milling, concrete base patching, asphalt pavement overlay, and new pavement marking. On Tuesday, traffic will be detoured to N. Lorraine St. and E. 20th Ave. Local traffic can still access Waldron Street from N. Waldron.
After Tuesday, Waldron Street will be partially open with lane changes, lane reductions, traffic flaggers, and active construction. The entire project is expected to last approximately 3 weeks.
