HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the seventh consecutive week, the Hutchinson Community College football team remains No. 1 in the latest NJCAA rankings released on Monday afternoon.
The Blue Dragons are 7-0 overall, 3-0 in Jayhawk Conference play.
HutchCC defeated Coffeyville on the road, 40-17, on Saturday to maintain the unbeaten record.
The Blue Dragons will host No. 13 Butler on Saturday at Gowans Stadium for a noon kickoff. The HutchCC athletic department is asking for those attending to please wear blue.
Three other Jayhawk Conference schools are in the Top 15. Garden City remains No. 5, while Butler is No. 13 and Coffeyville is No. 15. Dodge City is receiving votes.
