A new text scam is making its way to a cell phone near you. &nbsp;&nbsp;

The text scam says that you need to pay your FastTrak lane tolls by February 9, 2025, to avoid a fine and keep your license. &nbsp;&nbsp;

The text provides a link to a website that is fake. &nbsp;&nbsp;

It also says to reply Y, then exit the text message and open it again to activate the link or copy it into your browser and then open it. &nbsp;

According to authorities, the scam began in California, but several people in Kansas have reported getting the text. &nbsp;

If you get the text, do not click on the link or reply to it. &nbsp;If you receive the text, block the number and file a complaint with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center. &nbsp;
