McPHERSON COUNTY — A section of 14th Avenue just north of McPherson and south of Pawnee Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, August 4, according to the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office.
The closure will remain in place through Wednesday, August 14, to allow for maintenance and construction work. Officials are urging drivers to plan ahead and expect detours, as traffic will be rerouted to nearby side roads during the closure.
The sheriff’s office advises motorists to use caution and be prepared for increased traffic volumes on alternate routes in the area. Updates and additional information will be provided as needed throughout the project.
Drivers are encouraged to monitor local announcements and obey all posted signs for the safety of construction crews and fellow travelers.
