HUTCHINSON, Kan.&nbsp;— The No. 10 Trinity Valley Cardinals started off hot with a 10-0 lead in the first 2:25 of game four against the Georgia Highlands Chargers. The Cardinals beat the Chargers 61-54 in the first round of the tournament Sunday at the Sports Arena. 

Sophomore guard Ahamad Bynum led Trinity Valley with 22 points. Freshman&nbsp; guard Jay'Quan Nelson led Georgia Highlands with 19.&nbsp;

Trinity Valley led 29-18 at halftime. The Cardinals maintained a lead throughout the entire game despite being outrebounded by Georgia Highlands 23-10.&nbsp;

Trinity Valley shot 40.6% from the field compared to Georgia Highlands who shot 31.9% from the field.&nbsp;

Georgia Highlands went 0-10 from the 3-point line in the first half and ended with only 18.2% from distance on the night. Trinity Valley shot 25.0% from the 3-point line.&nbsp;

Trinity Valley will face the No.7 Triton College Trojans tomorrow night at 9:30 p.m.&nbsp;The play-by-play will be led by Glen Grunwald and Rick Kraus on Country 102.9 FM and KWBW 1450 AM/98.5 FM.
