Haven School Board meets on Monday

HAVEN, Kan.— The Haven USD 312 School Board with a full agenda to start the new year. The Board will do the usual housekeeping chores including appointing a Board President and Vice President. The Board will also make its appointments to the Reno County Education Cooperative.

Once the Board gets down to business they will recognize the second quarter Impact Award winner for the district and take up the issue of bringing wrestling back to its athletic program. 

And like other government entities the district will consider extending its COVID leave program and go into executive session for personnel matters. 

The Board will also take action on the renewal of Superintendent Clark Wedel’s contract for another year.

Monday’s meeting of the Haven USD 312 School BOard begins at 6 p.m at the Haven High School library.
