Stanley Howard Seifert, 79, passed away on December 30, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, the Son of Harry Seifert and Opel Bohnert in Anthony.

Stan graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1960.  After dating for two years, on August 7, 1960, Stan married Beverly Eales at 10th Avenue United Methodist Church in Hutchinson. They spent 60 years together raising 3 children, enjoying their 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He worked since a teenager as an auto body repairman and painter, a majority of that time at Horne’s Body Shop. He like Bev always had an open home, a hand to lend to friends and strangers alike. Both his love and his niceness to family, friends, and strangers were unconditional. Stan and Bev hosted for 4 decades Christmas for family and friends. They had an open house for everyone to walk in, if needed spend the night or a little longer. He was a man how men should be.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Ann; brothers, Delbert Seifert, Elmer Frank Seifert and sister, Mary Adams; and grandchildren, Tim Weaver and Laura Ratley.

Survivors include his children, Diann (Paul) Stropes, David (Brent Showalter) Seifert, and Amy Ratley; grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Warner, Kaitlynn Showalter, fiancé Tyler Jenkins, Leah (Simon) Hiebert, and Alexis Ratley; great grandchildren, Wesley, Aiden, and Joel Warner, Olivia Showalter-Jenkins, and Macie McAllister; sisters, Nellie Korbel and Cathy Borders; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation or services, as cremation was chosen. A joint private Stan and Bev gathering will be held in the spring for family and friends.
