RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before noon Tuesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Freightliner semi driven by Dung N. Tran, 57, Garland, Texas, was northbound on Kansas 14 at Maple Grove Road.
The semi traveled off the roadway to the right and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle crossed the center line and traveled off the roadway to the left. The driver overcorrected again and the semi crossed the center line, overturned, and came to rest in the field on the east side of the highway.
EMS transported Tran to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
