Hazel May Smith, 96, passed away March 17, 2022 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born January 31, 1926 in Limon, Colorado to Chester Jerome and Bessie Orva (Ingram) Overholser.
She married Albert M. Smith Jr. August 22, 1944 in El Reno, Oklahoma. Survivors include: son, Albert Marion Smith Jr. of Peabody; daughter, Mary Ellen Avery of Peabody. Predeceased by: husband, Albert M. Smith Jr. in 2012; daughter, Anna Maria Bahre in 2018.
