HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6 p.m. Tuesday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Ford Ranger driven by Jaden Malachi Taylor, 20, El Dorado, was eastbound on Kansas 196 and rear-ended a 2015 Chevy Cruze driven by Tonya Marie Buche, 63, Sedgwick, who was slowing down to turn on South Spencer Road. After impact the car left the road and came to rest in the south ditch.
EMS transported Buche to a Wesley Medical Center. Taylor was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
