RENO COUNTY, Kan. — A woman was critically injured early Monday in a structure fire southwest of Hutchinson, according to Reno County Fire officials.
Crews from Reno County Fire Districts 4, 6 and 7 were dispatched at 3:59 a.m. to 12416 S. Jordan Springs Road, where they found a camper and garage fully involved in flames.
Reno County EMS responded and transported a female burn victim to a Wichita hospital in critical condition.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 45 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
