Farmington Park Neighborhood
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Workers added two benches along the walking trail in Farmington Park on Thursday.
The benches are the result of multiple partnerships with the neighborhood: the Hutchinson Breakfast Lions Club provided the benches, the Hutchinson Community Foundation gave a Changemakers at Work Grant to pay for the concrete pads (as well as additional trees for the park), and the City of Hutchinson - Government installed them.
Other recent improvements to the park include safety railings in a couple of spots along the trail and an accessible curb ramp next to the new picnic shelter.
