NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson School Board will take action on the 2021 budget during tonight’s agenda session.&nbsp;

The budget totals $16,540,113. The mill levy will fall from 44.74 to 41.10 mills.

Also, the Board will go over what is known as the Kansas Gating Criteria that provides guidance for dealing with various levels of instruction during the pandemic.&nbsp;

In addition, the Board will consider various purchases using SPARK funding. Some items are touchless fixtures in restrooms, table dividers, and sneeze guards for school buildings.

Tonight’s meeting of the USD 309 School Board begins at 7 p.m. at Reno Valley Middle School.
