KDOT awards September bids

TOPEKA, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Transportation announced Thursday approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Sept. 21, 2022, in Topeka.

Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Below are the area projects in south central Kansas.

Kingman ‑ 54‑48 KA‑6626‑01 ‑ U.S. 54, from the Pratt/Kingman county line east to the West Ninnescah River Bridge, pavement patching, 5.3 miles, Iowa Civil Contracting Inc., Victor, Iowa, $1,405,155.00.

Kingman ‑ 54‑48 KA‑6845‑01 ‑ U.S.54, pavement marking, 5.3 miles, Iowa Civil Contracting Inc., Victor, Iowa, $315,618.84.

Stafford ‑ 281‑93 KA‑6627‑01 ‑ U.S. 281, from the U.S. 50/U.S. 281 junction north to the K‑19/U.S. 281 junction, recycling, sealing and rumble strips, 14.0 miles, Dustrol Inc., Towanda, Kansas, $2,097,974.64.
