RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. Friday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100 driven by Charles Leroy Gable, 69, Roach, Missouri, was northbound on Kansas 96 Highway fourteen miles south of U.S. 56.

The driver was unable to maintain the lane on a curve.&nbsp; The motorcycle traveled into the southbound lane and sideswiped a southbound 2019 Honda CRV driven by Steven Scott Johnson, 62, Wichita.&nbsp; After impact, Gable was ejected from the motorcycle.

EMS transported Gable to Wesley Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
