
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Severe Thunderstorms that rolled through early Wednesday morning left behind some scattered power outages and some minor damage across central Kansas, including in Reno County.
The Evergy outage map still had around 30 different small outages as of 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Also, law enforcement reported tree limbs down in Hutchinson at 1:49 a.m. Water was briefly over the road on Highway 14 near Lyons.
A wind gust was measured at the McPherson Airport of 68 mph at 2:11 a.m. Power poles were knocked down two miles east northeast of McPherson and semi trailers were blown off of I-135 near exit 60 as a result of that storm.
