
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County is seeing an uptick in post-Christmas COVID cases.
After falling to a low of 442 on Jan. 4, the number of positive cases in the county has jumped by 70 in the past four days to 512 with 511 in the community.
The area saw a similar increase after the Thanksgiving holiday, but it was short lived as case numbers declined by almost 1,000 between the two holidays.
The death toll from the pandemic in Reno County remains at 106, with 6,238 recovered.
