
MARION COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Monday in Marion County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Ford F250 driven by Ronald J. Chlumsky, 51, Hamilton, Missouri, was eastbound on U.S. 50 ten miles east of Peabody. The Ford was attempting to pass a 2023 Chevy Silverado driven by David W. Hagstrom, 56, Rochester, Minnesota. The Ford drifted south into the Chevy's lane of travel. Chlumsky lost control of the Ford. The vehicle crossed the center lane, entered the south ditch and rolled onto its top.
EMS transported Chlumsky and passengers in the Ford Nikki R. Brooks, 52, and Ronin Chlumsky, 17, Hamilton, Missouri, to Wesley Medical Center.
Hagstrom was not injured. All four were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
