Marion - James Lee Richmond, 85, passed away August 23, 2021 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.
He was born October 9, 1935 in Antelope, Kansas to Clyde and Henrietta (Conyers) Richmond. He married Violet Frances Franta February 20, 1960 in Pilsen.
Survivors include: son, Rick Richmond of Austin, Texas; daughter, Jamie (Bill) Shirley of Marion; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by: wife, Violet Richmond in 2020; brothers, Ralph and Jack Richmond; sister, Evelyn Bredemeier.
Celebration of Life service 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion officiated by Pastor Darren Frazier.
