Dillons and the Food Bank of Reno County are partnering for a community food drive next week to help stock shelves at the organization’s newly opened location.&nbsp;

The event is scheduled for Friday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dillons Marketplace on East 30th Avenue in Hutchinson. Community members are invited to stop by and donate food items that will directly support local families facing food insecurity.&nbsp;

The drive will help supply the Food Bank with much-needed staples, including canned fruit, cereal, canned chicken and tuna, pancake mix, and syrup.&nbsp;

To help launch the effort, Dillons will begin the food drive with a $20,000 donation to the Food Bank of Reno County.&nbsp;

The food drive comes as the Food Bank celebrates the opening of its new facility and works to expand services for residents across Reno County.&nbsp;
