⚾ Royals announce 2026 TV schedule, all 162 games to air on Royals.TV or national broadcasts

The Kansas City Royals announced Friday their 2026 regular-season television schedule, with all 162 games set to air either regionally or nationally.

Royals.TV will carry 149 regular-season games. The remaining 13 games are scheduled as part of Major League Baseball’s national television package, though all games remain subject to change.

Nationally televised games for the Royals in 2026 include:

  1. March 28 at Atlanta (FOX)
  2. April 3 vs. Milwaukee (Apple TV)
  3. April 26 vs. Los Angeles Angels (Peacock)
  4. May 1 at Seattle (Apple TV)
  5. May 10 vs. Detroit (Peacock)
  6. May 25 vs. New York Yankees (ESPN)
  7. June 5 at Minnesota (Apple TV)
  8. June 13 vs. Houston (FOX)
  9. June 19 vs. St. Louis (Apple TV)
  10. July 5 vs. Philadelphia (Peacock)
  11. Aug. 22 vs. Detroit (FOX)
  12. Sept. 6 vs. Toronto (Peacock)
  13. Sept. 17 at Houston (FOX)

Four games will air as co-exist telecasts on both Royals.TV and FS1:

  1. April 4 vs. Milwaukee
  2. April 20 vs. Baltimore
  3. May 23 vs. Seattle
  4. May 30 at Texas

Ten home games also will be simulcast on Royals.TV and Gray Media’s KCTV5/KSMO:

  1. March 30 vs. Minnesota
  2. April 24 vs. Los Angeles Angels
  3. May 22 vs. Seattle
  4. June 12 vs. Houston
  5. June 18 vs. St. Louis
  6. July 17 vs. San Diego
  7. Aug. 7 vs. Chicago Cubs
  8. Aug. 21 vs. Detroit
  9. Sept. 4 vs. Toronto
  10. Sept. 7 vs. Arizona

The Royals’ full broadcast team returns for the 2026 season, with Ryan Lefebvre and Jake Eisenberg handling play-by-play duties and Rex Hudler and Jeremy Guthrie returning as analysts. Joel Goldberg and Royals Hall of Famer Jeff Montgomery will continue hosting pregame and postgame coverage. Eric Hosmer and Bridget Howard also will join the broadcast crew this season.

The Royals’ spring training game against Arizona on Friday night at 8:05 p.m. Central will stream free on Royals.TV with no credit card required.

The club announced in February that local broadcasts would be produced and distributed by Major League Baseball on Royals.TV. Games will be available on cable and satellite television, as well as through the MLB app.

Fans inside the Royals’ home television territory can purchase the in-market Royals.TV streaming package through MLB.com or the MLB app for $99.99 per year. Out-of-market fans can watch Royals games through an MLB.TV subscription for $149.99 annually.
