McPHERSON – Part of South Maxwell Street in McPherson is closed Monday, March 21, near the entrance to Turkey Creek Development.
The City of McPherson Public Works Department is repairing a sink hole that developed during the weekend. The road will remain closed until the necessary repairs can be completed.
Barricades remain in place around the approximately 6x6x8-feet deep hole. Residents are asked to avoid the area, and do not move any barricades for any reason. The City will notify the public once the road is re-opened.
Questions or concerns can be directed to the Public Works Department at 620-245-2535 or email Director Jeff Woodward at [email protected].
