Marjorie Pauline (Bell) Walker, 93, died December 31, 2021 at Leisure Homestead, Stafford.  Born October 30, 1928 at Stafford she was the daughter of Clifford Lyman and Minnie Pauline (Knoche) Bell. 

She was a 1946 graduate of Stafford High School and earned her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Panhandle Agriculture & Mechanical College in Goodwell, OK.  She retired from teaching after 37 years in Ulysses and Fountain, CO. 

She was a member of the Stafford Christian Church where she participated in the choir, playing the piano and DWF.  She volunteered at the Hospital Auxiliary, Stafford County Museum, Grant County Adult Literacy Program and sang with Ulysses Heartland Harmony’s Group.

She is survived by niece: Leslie (Chris) Jacobs.  Great-niece: Kiley Jacobs.  Great-nephews: Matthew Jacobs and Colin Jacobs.  Sister-in-law: Betty Bell.  Family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Marilyn Rankin, brother-in-law: Donald Rankin, brother: Lawrence Bell and a niece: Chantry Bell.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Stafford Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Stafford Christian Church or Stafford County Museum in care of Minnis Chapel, 125 N. Main, Stafford 67578.
