Residents with questions about the upcoming March 3 school bond plan will have two opportunities this week to get answers directly from district leaders during informal, come-and-go information sessions in McPherson.

District officials say the events are designed to give families and community members a closer look at how the proposed bond would support local schools.

The first session is scheduled for tonight from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at McPherson Middle School, 700 East Elizabeth.

Community members can stop by at any time during the event to speak with staff, review details of the proposal, and ask questions. No RSVP is required.

A second opportunity will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at McPherson High School, 801 East First.

To make it easier for families to attend, high school volunteers will be on-site to help watch children during the sessions.

District leaders say the goal is to ensure voters feel informed ahead of the March 3 bond vote and understand how the plan would impact local facilities, students, and the broader community.
