Readers looking to stock up for cozy fall days can browse bargain-priced books and media Saturday, Oct. 17, during the Friends of the Hutchinson Public Library’s semiannual Big Book Sale.
The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A special bag sale will take place from 2 to 4 p.m., when shoppers can purchase a bag of items for $2.
Organizers are encouraging readers to embrace “hygge,” a Danish concept associated with feeling cozy, comfortable and content, by finding a stack of good reads for the season.
The sale offers an opportunity to discover books and media at prices organizers describe as “priced to sell.”
