Kansas woman hospitalized after rear-end crash

KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after midnight early Sunday in Kingman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford Super Duty driven by Colton Tuff Johnson, 24, Afton, was southbound on South East 60th Street six miles south of U.S. 54.  The pickup rear-ended a 2018 Toyota Tacoma driven by Lyle Eugene Rhoades, 66, Wichita, who was stopped at the stop sign at South East 100 Avenue.

EMS transported a passenger in the Toyota, Debra K. Rhoades, 70, Norwich, to a Wichita hospital.

The drivers were not injured.  All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
