McPherson Police, Crime Stoppers looking for truck

MCPHERSON, Kan. — A McPherson nursery is missing one of its trucks.

According to McPherson County Crime Stoppers, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at approximately 1:09 p.m., the McPherson Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of West Northview Road in reference to a stolen pickup truck with a dump bed.

Officers contacted the victim in the case and the truck was last seen on the property on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The victim stated on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at approximately 8:00 a.m. the truck was not in the parking lot.

The vehicle was described as a white single cab 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 dually with a white dump bed, bearing Kansas tag 436 KXY, with straight pipe exhaust. On the side of the truck has lettering stating, “Smokey Valley Nursery”, along with USDOT # 01012709.
