HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An open house is coming up next week at the Hutchinson YMCA.
"It's our second one in a row, our open house at the YMCA," said David Foster with the Hutchinson YMCA. "It's a great opportunity for members and non-members alike to come and find out all the great things that are happening at the YMCA and how they and their families can get involved as members and as program participants."
There's also a break if you join at that time.
"We've got some pop-up classes planned and the event will run from 5 to 8 p.m. next Tuesday, August 20th, and we'll have some pop-up classes, martial arts, gymnastics, cycling, lift class, so some group ex classes and some programs, especially building on the Olympic theme with our gymnastics and swim lessons and swim team program," Foster said. "Any new member that joins the Y that day, specifically during that event, we will waive the joiner fee. So that is a $50 savings right off the bat and then we'll also have some raffles and different things going on at the event that people will want to make sure that they are there for and can get involved in."
