Case count now at 56, first time below 60 since last August

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Friday update from the Reno County dashboard shows the case count in the county at 56.

The last time the dashboard showed less than 60 active total cases was August 11, 2020 when it had 49. The level jumped to 152 on the 12th and hasn't been back to this level since.

Out of 7,735 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 7,542 recoveries. There are 8 clusters still being monitored. None of the cluster types have documented cases currently visible on the dashboard.

Three Reno County residents are in the hospital with COVID-19. There have been 367 hospitalizations total and 103 ICU admissions. 137 Reno County residents deaths are attributed to the pandemic.

Drive-thru testing is currently available at the Kansas Cosmosphere at 1100 N Plum in Hutchinson.
