HARVEY COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Monday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Coby Wayne Lollis Madueno, 21, Newton, was northbound on Interstate 135 one mile north of SE 36th Street in Newton.
The car veered right, entered the ditch, continued north in the ditch for over 400 feet and struck a bridge pillar.
EMS transported Lollis Madueno to Wesley Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
