Richard William Douglass was born January 28, 1937, at Little Rock, Arkansas, to Richard William Douglass Sr. and Mildred Eunice (Winchester) Douglass. He passed from this life to his eternal reward with his Lord Jesus Christ on December 8, 2021. On December 24, 1966, almost 55 years ago, he married Treva Jane (Wolfe) at Sedan, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include son Russel William Douglass and wife Veronica, grandson Daniel Russel Douglass of Lyons. Son Herbie John Douglass of Great Bend, Kansas. Grandson Nichalas Hixson of Parsons, Kansas. Son Bradley Richard Douglass of Hutchinson, Kansas. One brother, Jerry Douglass and wife Lois, Farmington, New Mexico. And numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Eunice Brinkman and infant grandson David Russel Douglass. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Assembly of God Church, Lyons in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
