Donna Lea Folkers, 80 Years, passed away April 23, 2022 at Pratt Health and Rehab, Pratt. She was born on the family farm near Collyer, December 1, 1941 to R.N. "Newt" Tidball and Vernice (Jones) Tidball.
Donna attended Pleasant Valley, a one room school house until she went to High School in Collyer. She graduated in 1959. She was a stay at home mom and she also cared for lots of foster children. She went to work for Cross Manufacturing. Retiring after 25 years in 2012.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Iuka, KS.
Donna's hobbies were gardening and painting. She loved to grow, plants and flowers in her garden, enjoying many hours there. She also enjoyed bird watching. She enjoyed watching KU Basketball.
She was a very loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by Daughter, Beth (Bucky) Walters of Pratt; Son, Cody (Jackie) Folkers of Pratt, KS; five grandchildren, Matt (Katie) Walters, Katie Walters, Christian (Jackie) Folkers, Chance Folkers, Chase Folkers; great grandchild, Clayton Folkers; great grand child, Faith Folkers; Two Brothers, Charles Tidball of Wakenney; Ken (Orvina) Tidball of Topeka; Sister, Darlene (Gary) Gorsky of Collyer; and many nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Donna is preceded in death by her mother and father. Son, Gary. and brother, Tom Tidball.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd. Pratt, 67124. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka.
