COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — Things heat up in just the second week of the NJCAA football season as No. 2 Hutchinson (1-0) faces back-to-back national champion No. 1 Iowa Western (1-0).

The Reivers escaped week one with an overtime win at Georgia Military 42-41.

Hutchinson defeated New Mexico Military 42-10 to open the season at Gowans Stadium.
