HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson High School along with USD 308 will be celebrating their 150th Anniversary Homecoming on Friday, September 16, 2022.
Homecoming festivities will begin on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3:45 p.m. in Downtown Hutchinson for the annual Homecoming parade. The parade will begin on Avenue B and travel North on Main Street. The local community is encouraged to attend to celebrate and watch the parade.
The Homecoming football game against Maize South will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Gowans Stadium.
The Hutchinson High School Wall of Honor inductees for 2022 will be honored on the field at Gowans Stadium 6:30 p.m. This year’s inductees include Terry Bisbee, class of 1966, Robert “Bob” Johnson, class of 1940, and Fred Kaplan, class of 1972. The special banquet for the inductees is at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Hutchinson High School.
Following the Wall of Honor recognition, the 2022 Homecoming King will be named immediately prior to kickoff.
This year’s King candidates include Andres Mora-Castillo, Braydn Rodriguez, Dauntay King, Dorian Hippen, Noah Khokar, and Titan Heneha.
The 2022 Homecoming Queen will be named at halftime. This year’s Queen candidates include Emma English, Emma Link, Kinley Pitts, Libby Jackson, Mya Thompson, and Taryn Chapman.
