Plano, Texas - Judy Pauline Swaney Lovell, 72, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1948 in Grundy County, Missouri to Howard Cecil and Pauline (Strine) Lovell. Judy married Donald Swaney on June 24, 2000 at Macksville Free Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2006.
Judy graduated from Pratt High School in 1966. She was a case worker for Social and Rehabilitation Services. She was a member of Pratt Free Methodist Church and transferred to Macksville Free Methodist Church. She was a former Girl Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed painting, Elvis and the color purple.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Jon) Grossman of Nevada, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Grossman, Suszan Grossman, Matthew Grossman, Johanna Grossman; brothers, Kenneth Eugene Lovell of Pratt and Bobby Dean (Vickie) Lovell of Denver, Colorado.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Swaney; and son, Troy Croney.
Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
