MAIZE, Kan. - The Hutchinson High School varsity baseball team travels to Maize South to face the Mavericks in an AVCTL Division I doubleheader this afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. for Game 1, with Game 2 to follow.
The Salthawks enter the doubleheader with a 6-4 record and are fresh off a split of Valley Center on Friday. The Mavericks are 8-3 but just were swept by archrival Maize last week in home and home games.
