🏀 Blue Dragon men overcome rough shooting night to beat Beavers

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Bo Aldridge scored 25 points and brought down 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season, as the Hutchinson Community College men's basketball team beat Pratt, 65-59.

The Blue Dragons are now 18-10 overall, 14-8 in the Jayhawk Conference. Hutchinson maintains its fourth place position in the standings with two games to play.

Hutchinson and Pratt (11-17, 7-15) each struggled to shoot the basketball throughout the night. Hutchinson shot 27% from the floor, while Pratt was 35%. Pratt struggled from behind the arc, knocking down just 2 for 23 from deep, while the Blue Dragons hit eight 3-pointers. 

The game featured nine ties and seven lead changes, as the largest lead in the game was six points, which came by Hutch in the first half. The largest lead for Pratt was four early in the game. 

Ajiet Akot scored 21 poitns and brought down 15 rebounds to lead Pratt with his fifth double-double of the season.
