HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Students in 5th through 8th grade are invited to attend this year's virtual Youth Empowerment Summit.
Every year on Martin Luther King Day, Rise Up Reno holds a summit just for 5th through 8th grade students all over the state. This is a day to empower students to become future leaders, make great choices and have fun.
This year instead of a full-day event, organizers will host a shorter Zoom session that will allow attendance of more students. The speaker for this year will be Dustin Galyon, who will deliver a keynote to inspire leadership and encourage leadership-making skills.
