HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson USD 308 and Salthawk Community Support is looking for volunteers to be mentors at both HMS-8 and Hutchinson High School.
Salthawk Community Support provides mentors who spend 15-30 minutes once a week with a student, visiting as a friend, playing games or working on social skills.
Tutors also help with after school tutoring and math tutors are especially needed. Salthawk Community Support will provide the training, background checks and ongoing support.
