HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An annual Cause for Paws event kicks off again next month.

The agency says that January is Pit Bull Month. If you have a dog in the bull terrier family that needs to be spayed or neutered, now is the time.&nbsp;

Cause for Paws will sponsor the surgery and it will cost the pet owner just $10. Owners of pit bulls who want to have their pets spayed or neutered can make appointments now.&nbsp;

Three local veterinarians are helping with the procedures this month. You can call any of them to make an appointment:
