Rhoda Louise Medlam, 92, passed away July 19, 2021, at McPherson Health and Rehab, McPherson. She was born November 10, 1928, in Danville, KS, to Charles Floyd and Hazel Mina (Schwab) Crum.

Louise was a graduate of Harper County High School, Harper, KS. She enjoyed playing cards and games, candlewicking, and needle punch. Louise was a member of the ‘FAD of the Month Club’ that provided information to its members concerning various sewing and craft projects.

On August 18, 1950, she married Carl E. Medlam, in Hutchinson. They shared over 43 years of marriage, prior to his death on February 3, 1994.

Louise is survived by: children, Danny (Roxane) Medlam of Burrton, Carla Rae Medlam of Hutchinson, and Annette (Butch) Badgett of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Carl (Heidi) Badgett of Nixa, MO, Brandon (Emily) Badgett of Hutchinson, Nathanael (Amy) Medlam, Bethany, OK, and Ethan Medlam of Lawrence, KS; great-grandchildren, Gavin, MacKenzie, and Cameron Badgett, and Aiden and Malachi Medlam; and siblings, Wilma Hallda of Burrton, and Ralph Crum of Texas.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and seven siblings.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, with Pastor Bob Phipps officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary.
