SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson City Council gave approval to the budget for next year during their regular meeting on Monday.

The council approved the $7,755,000 budget without changes and set the public hearing for August 17th. Total taxes levied for the year will be&nbsp; $1,082,000. The tax rate will fall from 43.22 to 43.14 mills.&nbsp;

The August 17th public hearing will be a part of the City Council regular meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the South Hutchinson Community Building at 101 West C.
