HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Interviews are coming up Friday for the County Counselor's position in Reno County. Two finalists will be interviewed.
According to Reno County Administrator Randy Partington, it is a priority for the county to get someone in that position as soon as possible, as Joe O'Sullivan plans to retire at the end of the year.
O'Sullivan has been willing to help in the transition, but it is Partington's intent to get a recommendation, if one occurs, on the agenda before the end of the year.
The county also needs to fill the County Appraiser's position. Those three finalists will be interviewed December 17.
